Special events are posted here as they are scheduled.
The Northwest Chapter has four General Membership meetings per year. The public is invited and welcomed to these meetings. There are educational talks or activities, and it is a chance to meet your local naturalists.
The dates for these meetings are:
January- Third Saturday (Typically at 1:00 PM)
April- Third Thursday (Typically at 6:00 PM)
July- Third Saturday (Typically at 1:00 PM)
October- Date varies, due to other wildlife events in the area, but the third Thursday is our target date.
Meetings of the Board of Louisiana Master Naturalists, Northwest Chapter, Inc. are held on the 3rd Thursdays of odd months (Ex. 01- January, 03- March, etc.). Adjustments will be made for holidays, and the November meeting date will vary and will be held after the Membership Meetings.
These meetings are typically held at 6:00 PM at the Red River National Wildlife Refuge. Certified Naturalists and those enrolled in the training program are welcomed to attend.
